I'm a London-born freelance multimedia journalist, until recently based in Mexico.

I am now back in London and have returned for a short-term contract as a Senior Broadcast Journalist at the BBC Digital Current Affairs department, where I'm developing digital-first pilots and new show formats for an online audience.
Before I decided to roll the dice and go freelance in 2018, I spent five fantastic years at the BBC in multiple roles, starting out as a current affairs feature writer. I then worked as a producer on BBC World TV, before moving into digital video editing, producing and filmmaking, always focusing on online platforms.

At BBC Stories, as part of the Digital Current Affairs team, I covered a wide range of human interest stories, at various points playing the parts of cameraman, editor, producer and researcher - sometimes all at once.
